Born and raised in Guangzhou, China, Silka followed her passion and started studying art in 2009. In 2017, she completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Xi’An Academy of Fine Arts in China and began her journey as an artist and an art teacher.

After Silka moved to Australia, her art journey endured, exploring new mediums and providing personalised commissions for a wide array of clientele.

Silka’s works have featured in various exhibitions, including the XAFA Excellent Artworks Collection 2016, Chinese Young Artists Exhibition 2017, and Lethbridge 20000 Small Scale Art Award 2020. Her works are displayed at respected galleries worldwide.

Silka’s featured works and projects:

• Partnered with the Queensland Government and designed Chinese zodiac commemorative birth certificate range, launched 2022.

• Partnered with the Queensland Government and designed Chinese commemorative marriage certificate, launched 2022.

• Hosted virtual and in-person painting classes with exceptional client reviews.

• Collaborated with acclaimed brands including Christian Dior, Montblanc, etc.
